Barcelona, Catalonia and Spain are making these days the headlines of the international media and we got a few questions on the possible impact of these events on the conference.
Regarding the conference, the setup has begun. The program, visits, and events are prepared. We do not foresee any impact on the program and the venue. The preparation of the conference is proceeding normally. The security in town is more than ever the priority for the authorities.
The aspect where the participants could be affected is the public transport if there is a strike one day next week. There are in any case minimal services foreseen, so transportation will be always possible, but of course it could eventually take longer. We will include a metropolitan public transport card (10 tickets) in the bag with the documentation of the conference.
